| Description | Homeowners and garden enthusiasts will have a field day at the 6th Annual Brunswick Islands Home & Garden Show, March 29 and 30 at West Brunswick High School (550 Whiteville Rd. NW in Shallotte). Eighty multi-faceted exhibitors displaying products and services for the home and garden will be at the show. Exhibited products and services will include landscaping, gardening, pool and spas, windows, outdoor grills, home décor, utilities, real estate and financial services, and resources for home construction or improvement. Throughout both days, non-stop, free classes and seminars will be held to educate attendees on a variety of home and garden topics. Room 206: How to pay off your home mortgage early Presented by United First Financial 12 p.m.-12:45 p.m. Room 226: Spring preparations and wise water management tips to beat the drought Presented by Charlie Spencer, Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator, Brunswick County Cooperative Extension Service Room 223: Mosquito control and you with "Solutions by the yard." Presented by Dennis Spaulding of Carolina Coast Landscapes Room 223: “Inquiring Gardeners Want to Know” Answers to Your Gardening Questions Presented by David Barkley, Brunswick County Cooperative Extension Agent The show will be open on Saturday, March 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission price is $5 and children 12 and under are free.
