Jenerette Chosen to Lead Hospitality Assoc.
A woman recently appointed to the planning commission in North Myrtle Beach has a new job. Katherine Jenerette has been chosen to lead the Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association. She fills the position vacated when Martha Hunn left to take a job anchoring news on an area television station. Ms. Jenerette formerly served as an aide to Congressman Henry Brown. Last November, she attempted to win the State Senate seat held by Dick Elliott of North Myrtle Beach, but she was defeated in the election bid.
