Our Account Managers enjoy a high rate of renewalsand are paid full

Description: Full-time advertising sales Account
Manager needed for extremely successful North Strand focused website,
NorthMyrtleBeachOnline.com, to generate revenue by selling digital
advertising utilizing consultative sales methods to businesses
located only in the North Strand. Our Advertising Account Managers
• Identify market potential by qualifying accounts.
• Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments; making
initial presentations; understanding account requirements.
• Close sales by building rapport with potential account;
explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections;
preparing contracts.
• Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products
and services; developing new applications.
• Contribute information to market strategy by monitoring
competitive products and reactions from accounts.
• Recommend new products and services by evaluating current
product results; identifying needs to be filled.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Determine client advertising campaign requirements by
utilizing product or service knowledge, marketing research, media
capabilities, and audience characteristics.
• Identify current and future customer service requirements
by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and
other persons in a position to understand customer requirements.
• Guide advertising production by coordinating copywriting,
art layout, and media time.
• Maintain client confidence and protects advertising operations
by keeping information confidential.
• Provides account information by answering questions and
requests.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge; review
other media campaigns; establish personal networks; participate
in professional societies and community activities.
Qualifications: In order to be considered for
this position, the candidate must:
• Be self-motivated;
• Be creative;
• Be able to work Independently with little or no supervision;
• Be ethical;
• Have solid sales experience in business-to-business sales
– minimum 2 years
• Have a proven track record of driving revenue through
development of long-term client relationships;
• Have strong computer skills;
• Have good communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to:
o Work in a team environment while supporting company goals
o Invest in a long-term commitment to team
o Work under deadline constraints
A business development, planning, marketing background in media
is ideal
